Monday 9th September Slow start to the skydiving week as the westerly winds were still blowing. No jumps today. Weather looking better for tomorrow.


Tuesday 10th  – New student for today was Rosie Dodgson. Rosie completed her classroom theory with Adrian and did Stage 1 of his AFF Course that afternoon.  Good turn out for fun jumpers. Johnny lead Elle on a back tracking jump. The local residents kept the plane load full. Total of 6 loads today.

Wednesday 11th – Finally the wind had ceased. Tandem for today was Tony Lenton – congrats on taking the BIG leap.  Rosie Dodgson was back at it again completing Stages 2, 3 & 4 of her AFF Course with Darren and Adrian. Once again the jumpers had a great day and kept the plane turning.

Thursday 12th – Another beautiful day for skydiving. Old faces on the Dropzone were Louis Potvin, Tomic Kluzniak and Troy Watt – welcome back. 6 awesome loads too to the skies today.


Friday 13th  –   Funstastic Friday the thirteenth – Student Ailin Shao returned and completed Stage 8 of her AFF Course with Darren. Another great skydiving day filled with laughter and joy.

Saturday 14thTandems today were Zachary Wassenberg and Joel Doherty – congrats. Jarrod Potter, Scott Pont and Brenden Pont returned and completed Stage 4 of their AFF Courses and Jarrod Potter and Brenden Pont did Stage 5.

South Qld Parachuting Council (SQPC) held their yearly skydiving State Championship today, what a great turn out with 174 jumps made. Big congrats to all participates. A total of 17 loads took to the skies. Then as the sun set, we set out for 2 night loads, which were awesome to see – congrats to those who gained their night crests.

Sunday 15th – Perfect conditions yet again for skydiving. Tandems for today were Timothy Johns, Brad McLaughlin, Ryan McLaughlin, Kellie Wardman, Dave Clayton, Ray Ratcliffe – congrats to all.  Steve Thomas went for an observation flight.  Patrick Baumann did a refresher and got 2 jumps in that afternoon.

Qld State Skydiving Champions were still going hard. Keep your eyes peeled for the results.

Luke smashed out his B-Rel Stage 6 jump with Adrian. Tom Sawyer completed his B-Rel Stage 6 and Ryan Newis completed B-Rel 2 with coach Robin.
