⭐️ Alisha – Completed AFF

Drop Zone Action

What a week at Toogs! We had loads of energy from Students, Tandems, B-Rels and our Fun Jumpers, capped off by an unforgettable Night Jumps event. The skies were looking questionable at times during the week, but the weather came good just when we needed it, and we ended up with clear conditions for both progression jumps and some very special night-time action. Big highlight goes to Alisha, who completed her AFF with Stages 8 and 9 – congratulations on joining the ranks of licensed skydivers!

⭐ Student Progression

Welcome to the skies Harry (Harmanpreet), who kicked things off with Stage 1 of his AFF Course.
Tham (Hui Yu) smashed through Stages 1–6 in just one week – awesome effort! India kept progressing with Stage 5, Jade knocked off Stages 5 and 6, and John flew through Stages 6 and 7. And of course, a massive congrats to Alisha for completing Stages 8 and 9 to finish her AFF Course. Big thanks to instructors Toddy, Rebecca and Ashley for keeping the stoke high and the students safe.

☀️ Coach & B-Rel Jumps

B-Rels progression in full swing this week with Macayla doing five jumps, Samantha with four, plus Luke, James and Emanuele all getting into the mix. Thanks to our coaches Toddy, Rebecca and Marcee for guiding everyone through their jumps.

🪂 Tandems

Plenty of first timer Tandems got their knees into the Toogoolawah breeze: Renee, Jeanne, Samuel and Diego. Special shoutout to Renee, who left a note in our visitor book saying: “So much fun want to learn.” We also had some big night-time thrills with Henry, Joshua, Brendan and Jarrad all doing Night Tandem jumps, plus Adam Harmey stepping up with Tandem training alongside Tandem Master Ty. Thanks to Tandem Masters Lisa and Robin, outside flyer Toddy, and extra thanks to Chris and Ty for taking the night Tandems out, and to Travis McCartin for making the night jumps happen.

⭐ Fun Jumper Action – Night Jumps

The big vibe of the week was definitely Night Jumps. Thank you to all the participants for making the night jumps as fun and safe as they were. And here’s the full write-up from event coach Travis:

“Well, all week, the forecasted weather was looking like we were going to get blown out or clouded out, yet everyone made it out to Ramblers, having faith that we would be able to get up in the night sky.

In the end, we were able to fill every slot on the three loads we got up. It was great to see that 18 novices were on the list, as well as four Tandems. We have had so much interest that we will be running more events for sure, so keep an eye out on the Ramblers page for the next one!

A huge thank you to the following: Skydive Ramblers for allowing us to run these events! John, for his exceptional piloting skills. Ben and Sara for their help and patience for all they do behind the scenes to make this work. And manifest for doing all the things that they do.
