It’s Monday 16th and we had two Tandem jumpers taking the plunge for the first time – Sophie Geddes & Angus Groome who jumped for his 14th Birthday – Happy Birthday Angus! Student Peter Duggan did Stages 7 & 8 of his AFF Course.
On Tuesday we had another two Tandems M V Srikumar Nair & Abd Hanid Khalid. Students Cameron Luck & Peter Duggan did Stage 9 – completing their AFF!
On Wednesday student Josh Large did Stage 9 – completing his AFF!
Thursday Veterans 4 Youth brought a veritable formation of jumpers for Tandems once more – Lennon Peter, Rhys, Juri , Brock, Alex, Damon, Jack, Callan, Marsel, Douglas, Timothy, Riley, Dylan, Zayne, Lucio, Conor, Daniel, Ronan, Henry, Ben, Willoughby, Jack, William, Harrison, & Blake.
Veterans 4 Youth aim to help troubled kids lacking self-esteem, self confidence, and resilience, and guide them to reach their full potential. The camp helps them to learn self-discipline and self-motivation. The goal is to develop their leadership potential and respect for others, setting them up for future challenges in life. On Friday more Veterans 4 Youth participants took the plunge in Tandem. Matthew, Trampus, Hayden, and Alice.
Saturday we had another five “V4Y” Tandems – Ryan, Isabella, Tahlia, Aoife & Alannah, as well as some regular Tandems Stephen Gwynn-Jones & Lucas Fowler, and some very special Tandems from our skydiving family – Janine, Rhomaney & Tait Whitten – as well as Instructors Brett Higgins, Archie Jamieson & Wayne McLachlan – welcome back guys! Student Riz completed his refresher course and Student Sarah Doublet did Stage 2 of her AFF Course.
Our Tandems on Sunday were Michael Miller, Gary Cameron & Glen Clewett. Students Sarah Doublet did Stages 3 & 4 of her AFF Course, and Cory Cassell did Stages 4 & 5. Emmet Ryan and Greg Thomas also completed a refresher course.

Shouted my brother for his 40th to a night sky dive. We absolutely loved it! Best experience ever! The team at Ramblers made us feel well looked after, safe, best humour, can’t thank you enough. We’ve both done day sky dives before but this was next level. Watching the sunset and flying into the sky with fading light & jumping out into darkness. Highly recommended!
