What a massive week at Ramblers! Students, Tandems, B-Rels, and Fun Jumpers packed the skies, with our Learning Curve Camp running Monday to Friday and plenty of progression across the board.

Huge congratulations to Ryan and Ethan, who each started and completed their entire AFF Course in just one week—an outstanding achievement! Alex also celebrated finishing his AFF Course with Stage 9.

Congratulations to Kaylie, Jordy, Ethan, Lalita, and Dustin on earning their A-Certificates, Joel, Britt, and Brad on receiving their C-Certificates, and Thayne on achieving his Packer B qualification. A special shout-out also goes to Kellie, who celebrated 10 years in the sport of skydiving.

Thanks to everyone who made the Learning Curve Camp another fantastic week of coaching, learning, and fun in the skies.

Drop Zone Action

🏁 On Saturday, Bill welcomed Megan, Mark, Eamonn, and Felipe, who all kicked off their 15 Jump Packages with a First Jump Course classroom session. We can’t wait to see everyone in the skies!

⭐ Student Progression: Huge congratulations to Ryan, who completed his entire AFF Course from Stages 1–9 during the week, and to Ethan (Runcheng), who also powered through Stages 1–9 to earn his A-Certificate. Alex wrapped up his AFF journey with Stage 9—well done to all three!

Continuing students kept the momentum going, with Campbell completing Stage 2, Kodi progressing through Stages 2 and 3, Finn reaching Stage 4, and Zachary completing Stages 5 and 6.

Welcome to the skies as Katie and Megan completed Stages 1 and 2, while Mark also progressed through Stages 1 and 2. Kirsty and Eamonn both completed Stages 1 to 3, making a fantastic start to their skydiving adventures.

Thanks to our Instructors for looking after the students and keeping everyone safe in freefall and under canopy: Toddy, Kellie, Alex, Ash, Wayne, Ben, Marc, Paul, Li, Robin, and Chris.

Tandem Skydivers

This week’s Tandem adventurers were Shu Farn, Thomas, Lawrence, Martin, Dallas, and Cheng Ruei, all taking the leap of faith over Toogoolawah.

Thanks to our Tandem Masters Robin, Matt, and Ash for getting everyone safely into the sky and back to the ground.

B-Rels, Coach & Fun Jumps

The Learning Curve Camp kept the drop zone buzzing all week, with loads of coaching, seminars, personalised progression, and plenty of jumps for students and experienced Fun Jumpers alike. It was another fantastic camp focused on building skills, confidence, and knowledge across multiple skydiving disciplines.

There was plenty of coaching action throughout Learning Curve Camp. Brendan completed four jumps, beginning his B-Rel journey with Stage 1, while Craig ticked off B-Rel Stages 6.2 and 6.3. Ryan completed two coached jumps, including B-Rel Stage 5.

Also taking to the skies with coaches were Saffron, Matthew, Elijah (three jumps), Ming Yao, Korshyn (three jumps), Taylah (B-Rel 5), plus Dustin and Lalita, who both completed refresher jumps to get back into the swing of things.

Thanks to our coaches Jake, Li, Alex, Logan, Kellie, Paul, and Toddy for helping everyone continue to build their skills safely.

Don’t miss FUNtastic Friday on Friday, 31 July—a great afternoon of coached fun jumps, skill-building, and good vibes with fellow fun jumpers. Come along, get involved, and keep the progression going!

Today I went flying for the first time in a long time, as I had a stroke 3 and a bit years ago. Just wanted say thank u Ramblers for bringing me a great day and a bit of normality back in my life. Again I would like to thank all the people that truly made my day and the special man, that looked after me. It won't be my last time out there. And would recommend this experience to anyone. Again thanks to everybody involved.
