Rambling On ⭐️ DZ Action News #713 (22-28 June 2026)

Thursday, July 2, 2026

Another fantastic week at the DZ saw Students, Tandems, B-Rels, and Fun Jumpers making the most of the skies over Toogs.

Huge congratulations to ⭐️Elijah, who completed his AFF Course with Stage 9 before rolling straight into B-Rel coaching – love seeing that momentum continue! We also celebrated ⭐️Jake and ⭐️Ryan receiving their A-Certificates, along with ⭐️Dominic and ⭐️Jordan achieving their C-Certificates.

Fun jumpers stayed busy with a Canopy Course with Mossy followed by another Advanced High Performance Canopy Course led by Adrian Seemann, helping canopy pilots continue to sharpen their skills.

Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…

Catch you in freefall,

B-Rels, Coach & Fun Jumps

Coach jumps this week were completed by Savannah, Brendan, Kaylie, Jake, Nikolaus, Ryan, Sophie, and Elijah, who got straight into his first B-Rel coaching jumps after completing his AFF Course.

Thanks to our coaches Bec, Alex, Toddy, Shelby, and Kellie for helping everyone continue to build their skills safely.

As for our Fun Jumpers: Canopy pilots had plenty to work on this week with Adrian Seemann’s Advanced High Performance Canopy Course, followed by Mossy’s Canopy Course on Saturday.

Canopy Course 25th/26th of June – Report by Adrian:

“The participants for this advanced high performance canopy course were Alex, Pam, Tamblyn and Amos. All four them wanted to work on being more consistent and building more power with their high performance landings. Unfortunately we had some challenging weather conditions with the wind picking up a lot on both days around lunch time and low cloud later in the afternoons. That said all of them still managed to do six jumps over the two days and got to work on and improve their patterns and turn mechanics. We spent the down time in the classroom doing some theory seminars on high performance landing patterns, canopy inputs and an introduction to CP competition. Thanks to the APF and SQPC for supporting these events!”

Ashleigh shared this after her Tandem skydive:

“I had such an amazing time. I’ve never experienced such an adrenaline rush in my life. It was a very therapeutic experience, confronting my fear and pushing through it. The instructors were awesome – reassuring, funny and calm, which really helped my anxiety. I’m already looking at doing another Tandem and hopefully starting the AFF Course. Thank you again for such a wild and fun day!”

Hi Dave! I just wanted to reach out to you and extend my deepest gratitude for the absolutely exhilarating experience I had at Ramblers last weekend.

Never did I think I would ever jump out of a plane (took over 20 years to take the plunge), but Greggo and all of your staff made me feel confidant to take the leap.

The breathtaking views as we ascended to altitude set the stage for what was a one-in-a lifetime adventure.

Ramblers is a class act all around!!!!!!!! Thank  you to you and everyone there for creating an incredible opportunity and creating lasting memories.

I can’t wait to return for another dive soon!!!!

Regards, Natasha A.
