Tandem Skydivers

This week Ruby and Sienna celebrated with a Twin Tandem adventure, while Zakharius marked his 18th birthday with a leap of faith. Also taking to the skies were Tianna, Charlize, Prasad, and Jason.

Big cheers to those who took the Video/Photo Package to capture that unforgettable first jump! And an extra thanks to everyone who left reviews — your words inspire the next generation of skydivers.

Thanks to Tandem Masters Adrian, Robin, and Ben S. for getting everyone safely into the sky and back again. Special thanks to Toddy for flying outside camera and capturing those incredible extra angles from freefall.

B-Rels, Coach & Fun Jumps

Coach and B-Rel jumps this week were completed by Saffron (B-Rels 2 and 3), Carlos, Kaylie, Samantha, Jake (B-Rel 4), Jack H. (B-Rel 2), Elijah (B-Rels 1 and 2), and Ryan (B-Rels 2 to 4), all continuing to build experience towards their next skydiving goals.

Thanks to our coaches Kellie, Jake, Alex, and Wayne for helping everyone progress safely.

Fun Jumpers had another action-packed weekend, kicking off with FUNtastic Friday before Josh Arndt and Tom Roberts also hosted a Beginner Angles day on Saturday, helping newer angle flyers develop solid skills and confidence. At the same time, Adrian Seemann ran another successful Canopy Course.

Funtastic Friday & Angle Camp Recap

“Funtastic Friday: Killer event, good turnout. A lot of people getting beginner angle briefings and giving it a crack. Myself and Tom did 5 jumps each. Was A license and above pretty early in the morning and we still had enough people to fill the caravan. A lot of people stayed and enjoyed the snags, Nordcamp was in his loft and missed out.

Angle camp: Estelle, Andrew and Conrad all got their level 1 angles signed off, great progression by all. A lot of people in general are hungry for beginner angles so will try to run these camps more regularly. Safe jump and lots of learning by all.”

Canopy Course with Adrian Seemann (4-5 July)

“The participants were Ellen, Jace, Chris, Kim, Steve and Stephen. We started the course with a theory session regarding mindset and attitude towards canopy piloting, before we started with the jumps. The participants got six jumps in on day one and all landings were individually debriefed. On day two some fog in the morning delayed the start a little bit but then the participants got two jumps before the wind picked up around lunch time. Once the wind had picked up we did two more theory seminars, one on progressing to faster equipment and another one on decision altitudes. We did run the event parallel with Josh’s and Toms angle camp, which worked very well.”
