Big cheers to all the Students smashing through their progression this week – and to everyone who came out for some awesome skydiving action! The DZ was also buzzing with Tandems, B-Rels and a solid crew of stoked Fun Jumpers.
We wrapped up the last Learning Curve Camp of the year, and it was in full swing from Monday to Friday. LCCs are a week-long event for students, novices, and anyone keen to level up their skills and broaden their knowledge of everything skydiving. AFF, B-Rels, Star Crest, Tracking, Freefly & Angles, Canopy Control, Gear Maintenance, Spotting & Jump Run, Weather, A/B License Exams, plus loads more! The weekend then rolled on with good vibes and a Canopy Course with Mossy.
🏁 First Jump Course & Student Progression
Monday 6th Oct. First Jump Course with Bill, joined by Jason, Shai and David sitting in for a Refresher.
Diego kicked off his AFF journey with Stages 1–3 – welcome to the sport. Joel ticked off Stage 3. And Craig continued on his course with Stages 4+5.
Thanks to our Instructors Toddy, Robin, Ashley, Rebecca and Shani for keeping the students flying strong.
☀️ Coach & B-Rel Jumps
Talon, Luke, Nicholas, James, William and Dani all worked on their B-Rels Stage 6. Good on you for the solid progression!
Thanks to our Coaches Toddy, Rebecca and Ashley for guiding them towards becoming safe, confident fun jumpers.
🪂 Tandems
Jake, Zac, Sarah and Vincent came to experience the thrill of a lifetime together. Anne, Claudia, Mikayla, Alexander, Alana and James also had an epic time jumping Tandem above the Toogoolawah skies.
Thanks to our Tandem Masters Robin, Ashley, Ty, Shani and Matt, and to Toddy for running outside flyer video & photos.
☀️ Fun Jumpers Action
Fun Jumpers kept the stoke rolling after a big Learning Curve week. Mossy ran a Canopy Course on Saturday – thanks for the coaching, legend!
Josh was out on Monday and Tuesday (big thanks to Mee Loft!) and managed to smash out five jumps each day. Chloe, James and Alex scored their Head Up Crests, and Travis celebrated his 800th jump in style with a big 10-way nudie skydive. Around eight jumpers were working on their angle flying and honing their skills. On Monday night, Josh also ran the monthly gear maintenance session, giving everyone a solid run-through of their rigs. All up, it was a couple of great days at the DZ.
📅 Upcoming at the DZ
More good weather and good vibes ahead. With the season firing, it’s the perfect time to bring your mates for a Tandem, work on your B-Rels or just join the fun jump crew. See you in the sky!

Learning Curve Camp – with Coach Josh
“I was out Monday and Tuesday thanks to Mee Loft. Did 5 Jumps both days. Chloe James and Alex number 3 both got their Head up Crests signed off, Travis did a big 10 way nudie jump for his 800th, about 8 people were learning angles and how to fly better.
Monday night I ran a monthly maintenance and took people through their gear.
Good few days by all. Thanks again.”

We spent eight days at Skydive Ramblers and had great time. Awesome DZ, awesome friendly staff, great airplane and facilities. Accommodation on premises was great and very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed after jumping socialising at the bar on DZ and great food both at DZ and in nearby Toogoolawah town. Skydive Ramblers are wingsuit friendly and there is plenty of landing space around DZ.
Highlight of our trip was incredible kangaroo action at landing area - we did literally land on kangaroos and it was great fun :-) There are also wild koalas in the area.
