Another week of rambling on in the skies — Students smashing stages, B-Rels ticking over, Tandems grinning from ear to ear, and even our instructors swapping roles for some fun training jumps. From first-timers to finishers, and fun jumpers, it’s been non-stop action at Toogs — and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
The week was mostly clear and warm, perfect for jumping! Skies stayed blue, temps were nice, and there was hardly any wind—great conditions for all.
🏁 AFF Student Progression
Sarah started her journey with Stage 1 (in Tandem) and went straight on to Stage 2 the same day.
Alisha continued her progression with Stages 2–4.
Zane came out for Stage 2.
India completed Stage 3.
Tiffany (Ka Ting) smashed through Stages 4–6.
Nikita flew on Stages 4 & 5.
Joshua powered through Stages 3–8 — so close to finishing, mate!
Peter wrapped it up with Stage 9 — 🎉 congratulations on finishing your AFF Course here with us at Ramblers!
Big thanks to our instructors — Toddy, Robin, Bec, Lisa, Ash, Wayne, and Emily — for guiding students through their progression, keeping it safe while making it fun.
Matthew came back for a recurrency jump — welcome back!
✨ Special Training Tandem:
Our Tandem Master Lisa did her very first Tandem at Toogs — and her passenger was none other than instructor Toddy! Looks like he enjoyed being the one in the passenger seat for a change. Check out the photos — priceless!
Ash also played passenger for Lisa, and Lisa returned the favor for Matt, with both training for their “Strong” Tandem conversions.
And Mossy ran the Canopy Course on the weekend, thanks for the coaching and good on all who attended.
🪂 Tandems
A big welcome to this week’s Tandem jumpers: Ray, Tania, Breanna, Lucas, Kylie, Dylan, Stephanie, Brodie, Samatha, Eddie, Lillian, Oliver, and Lydia.
Plenty of smiles, plenty of Handycam footage, and loads of happy landings. Thanks to our Tandem Masters Ash and Robin for taking everyone for their first taste of Toogoolawah freefall!
That’s a wrap for Week 673 — thanks to all our students, fun jumpers, instructors, and Tandem passengers for keeping the skies busy. See you all next week for more knees in the breeze!

“Hi Guys, I would like to thank you guys for an amazing experience for us all! You couldn’t ask for better staff and even the general atmosphere of everything there is a clear indication of the fantastic culture there and that is something you just can’t get overnight.
I personally am deathly afraid of heights so I did not eat all day and got myself all worked up and was ready to back out all the way up until the door on the plane opened but the calming and accommodating nature of your staff just the general feel of everybody there allowed me to follow through and have one of the best experiences I have ever had!
So I’m still afraid of heights but I will be coming back and doing this again (we are already planning the next one!). Thank you again!”

“Ramblers were absolutely fantastic to deal with. My tandem buddy Ash was so welcoming, friendly and professional (even when I vomitted on the dropzone 🤣). I couldn’t fault how friendly all of the staff were. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff really got you pumped up for your jump. I love my photos and videos that were edited by Ash and will cherish them as a momento of my jump. Thank you Ramblers for making my 30year dream come true.”
“I went here last week and had a fantastic time. The surroundings are so peaceful and the staff are super helpful. The skydive was incredible, thanks to Ash. What a wonderful experience, the views were amazing. They are so good at explaining what to do and I felt totally safe.Would totally recommend to anyone thinking of doing a skydive.Thank you.”

“I did my AFF licence here with my brother, and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! 🪂 The instructors are absolute legends. Professional, patient, and somehow still manage to make you laugh while you’re about to jump out of a plane. The vibe on the drop zone is just amazing. Friendly faces, great energy, and always someone around with a good story. Whether you’re here to learn or just to have a blast, fun is 100% guaranteed! Thanks, Skydive Ramblers, for turning freefall into pure joy! 🙌”
Wow.......you guys really know your stuff. Professional with a Capital P....all the staff genuinely WANT to be there, no shortcuts to compromise safety at the same time making "us mortals" feel 100% safe.
