Drop Zone Action

The wind may have kept us grounded more than we’d like this week, but that didn’t stop the good vibes, learning, and sky-high stoke from rolling on. Here’s what went down at the DZ!

🏁 First Jump Course

Saturday the 2nd of August saw a few new faces in the classroom: Daniel, Arta, and Yan were ready to take the leap — but unfortunately, windy conditions meant no jumps on the day. We hope to see you all back at the DZ soon to get your knees in the breeze — your jump is just waiting for you!

Student Progression

Cash continued through his AFF course, completing Stage 7 with Ashley. Nice work!

☀️ Coach & B-Rel Jumps

Aysha knocked out B-Rels Stage 1, 2 & 3, and 4 with Marcee. Solid progression! And Victoria was back in the air with Coach Travis, continuing her path toward licence.

🪂 Tandems

Big shoutout to this week’s Tandem legends: Bailey, Kirsten, Deysen, Jamin, Judd, and Tui. Thanks for trusting us with your leap of faith — and for making the DZ that much more fun!

🎉 Fun Jumping Action

Even with the tricky weather, our Belly Bash crew (Load Organising by Dawn & Chris) managed to get one load in. It might have been short and sweet, but the vibes were strong and the formations were tight!

“Thank you to all you Belly Bash legends who took a punt on the weather and came out to jump with us on Saturday! The wind forecast was far from promising, but we managed to make the most of the morning by getting an absolute banger of a jump smashed out early on before the winds came up! Despite the windy conditions, the skies were stunning and the spirits were high! The theme this week was “swapping places” and everyone did an awesome job of the job!!

Thanks to our sponsors – Skydive Ramblers, SQPC, TSC and Mee Loft and to Dave Brown for making us look so damn good!!

Next Belly Bash will be on the 30th August!!”

Chris Dodds.

(Attendees: Dawn Adams, Chris Dodds, David Brown, Eduardo Armijo, Matthew Baker, Adrian Bramwell, Jasper Chan, Gregory Coman, Kerwin Davis, Scott Ferrar, Marcia Hammond, Jeffrey Johnston, Gregory Maskell, Shakira Mellow.)

Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Let’s hope for calmer skies next week — but no matter the weather, the spirit of the sport lives strong at Ramblers.

Catch you in freefall,
The Ramblers Crew 🪂

Google Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Monique W.: “The jump was for my sons 18th, they helped put him at ease and never once made him feel anxious. They were clear with instructions and repeated as many times as needed. Was fantastic to watch! There were people jumping constantly and was all done with absolute professionalism. Couldn’t fault it.”

As an experienced skydiver, I took my whole family to Ramblers to introduce each of them to a tandem jump. Ramblers is an awesome experience for tandems and for fun jumpers.
