Cloud Kisses & Canopy Chronicles

From first-time jitters to AFF graduations and back-to-back Tandem jumps and fun jumpers, this week had it all. The winds played nice, the vibes were high, and our skies were full of legends making memories. Here’s a look at what went down!

🏁 First Jump Course

We welcomed Sofiene, William M., and Samuel into the sport this week — great to have you on board! Freefall Skydiving Techniques and Canopy Handling Skills are introduced on their first jump, and we can’t wait to see their progression.

Jacob also sat in for a Refresher classroom session to get his head back in the game.

⭐ Student Progression

Sofiene had an awesome start, smashing out AFF Stages 1 through 4. Jacob made his way back into the skies with Stages 1 to 3. And William M. also got moving with Stages 1 to 3 — great effort all round!

Ongoing students powering ahead included Aysha, who completed Stages 3 through 8, and Jack, who ticked off Stage 7.

🎉 Congratulations to our newest AFF graduates: William A. finished with Stages 6 to 9, Morgan soared through Stages 7 to 9, and Mitchell also wrapped it up with Stages 7 to 9. Awesome work — you’re cleared for self-supervision!

☀️ Coach & B-Rel Jumps

Scott completed B-Rel 6.2 and Luke did B-Rel 5 with Li. Mitchell knocked off B-Rel 6.2. Jessica worked through B-Rel 4 with Adam, and we had refreshers happening too — Dylan jumped with Adam, and Sam got current again with Paul.

🪂 Tandems

We had a big crew of Tandem passengers take the leap this week: Thomas B., Nicole, Lachlan, Jaala, Stephanie, Thomas F., Adam, Shaun, Zenon, David, Curtis, and Paula. And then there was Gail (Happy Birthday!), who loved her jump so much that she came back for a second round!

Here’s what Gail had to say after her incredible experience: “Ty was amazing, as was Adam – my cameraman. Both times were the most incredible experiences, and to have my family here made it even more magical. Thank you to Jenny too, who guided me through from day 1.”

Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…

Catch you in freefall,
The Ramblers Crew 🪂

Brendan W. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/7/25): “Absolutely incredible experience for my first tandem jump last weekend! The atmosphere is fantastic – every member of the crew we encountered were ultimate professionals while still keeping the vibe relaxed. Massive thanks to Shani, Robin, and Ty who, despite some challenging weather (cloud cover), made sure we had a great morning. I highly recommend Ramblers, and definitely opt for the photos of your jump – Shani did an amazing job.”

This was my first time, with Ty as my instructor.
It was totally amazing experience and Ty was impressive as an instructor. He checked in all the time from start to finish making you feel safe and reassured. Free falling was the best experience and highlight of the jump. Thank you to the whole team . Definitely will be back. Loved it.
