Monday 13th March The start of the week 6 fun jumpers were here and 2 loads done. AFF student Hamish did Stages 3 & 4.
Tuesday – 20 fun jumpers were still here and we got 4 loads done. Izaz did a Tandem. AFF students Hamish did Stages 5, 6 & 7, and Boris did Stages 6, 7 & 8. Nanci Daniela did a B-Rel Coach jump with Todd.
Wednesday – there were 17 fun jumpers here, and only 2 loads were done. AFF student Boris and Hamish did Stage 8. 3 B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Caleb (x2) and Hayden.
Thursday 18 fun jumpers were here and 3 loads done. AFF student Boris and Hamish did Stage 9 – completing their AFF Courses. CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉 Melitta did a B-Rel Coach jump.
Friday 33 fun jumpers were here and 7 loads done. Melitta & Scott did B-Rel Coach jumps.
Saturday 95 fun jumpers were here and 16 loads done. Tandems today were Clive and Michelle – who did 2 jumps each, Rachel, Kurt, Shelby, Chris and Stephanie. AFF students Eli & Joshua did Stages 4 & 5. 5 B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Josh, Mitchell, Gintare and Patricio (x2).

“What an awesome weekend of Star Crests!! We had one of the best ever turnouts for Starcrestees and volunteers and the weather was perfect! Congratulations to Riva, Tommy, Marcela and Brett for getting their crests completed, and also Emma, Savannah and Shane who all got successful jumps signed off!
Massive thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and jumps to make this possible, and also to Toogoolawah Skydivers Club Inc, Australian Parachute Federation, and South Queensland Parachute Council for sponsoring these events!”

Sunday 19th March, we got 13 loads done by the 70 fun jumpers here. Ethan did a Tandem. AFF student Eli did Stages 6 & 7 of his AFF Course. Joshua & Gintare did a B-Rel Coach jump each.

Clive (via email): “No one word could explain my/our experiences we (Michelle and I) had over the weekend at Ramblers, we saw the best shooting star EVER!!! on the Friday night after arriving, I had a life changing experience on the Saturday morning with my 1st skydive jump so much so I had to do another to enjoy the experience I missed out on the 1st jump to which we were given the most spectacular sunset in the world, no one could ever describe that view, you have to see it to appreciate it. However that was not the only memory I will forever keep, it was when I/we offered to buy ‘a’ drink that we realized what a beautiful bunch of people you skydivers are at Ramblers and that alone was worth every cent spent over the weekend. I ‘may’ not ever come back to Toogoolawah to skydive because I want to now skydive everywhere I go but I would definitely love to come back and buy you all another case of beer. Thank you Ramblers and of course especially Grego, Ty and Robin for making the experiences so so much more exciting but ‘maintenance’ on the chute while we were under the canopy at whatever altitude Ty I had 110% belief you were going to get me to the ground safely so that did not bother me the slightest.”

My experience of a tandem skydive was for my 40th Birthday. I could not imagine possibly enjoying myself any more than what I did today. Thank you to my tandem guide and the video guys. Instructions were very clear and thorough about what to do, what to expect and I got a great tour guide experience up in the air. I look forward to doing it again.
