Tandem Skydivers

We welcomed John, Patterson, Danielle, Levi, Riley, Kristin and Kelly for their Tandem skydives.

Levi also got in on the action by docking on his mum Cheri‘s Tandem with Tandem Master Robin, with Toddy capturing the moment from outside camera.

Thanks to our Tandem Masters Robin, Toddy and Adrian for getting everyone safely into the sky. And a special thanks to Toddy for running dedicated outside camera footage for John and Levi.

Big cheers to those who took the Video/Photo Package to capture that unforgettable first jump! And an extra thanks to everyone who left reviews — your words inspire the next generation of skydivers.

B-Rels, Coach & Fun Jumps

There was plenty of B-Rel progression happening in the sky, with Alice completing B-Rel Stage 6, Sophie Stage 2, Jose Stages 2 to 4, Obed Stage 5, Levi Stages 3 and 4, Tim Stage 5, Brendan Stage 6 and Lenny Stages 3 and 4. Jack also completed a Refresher.

Thanks to our Coaches Jake, Alex, Paul, Logan, Adrian and Shelby for helping everyone keep building their skills in the sky.

We also had the pleasure of having Natisha Dingle, recognised as one of the fastest women in the world in skydiving, training with us at Ramblers. And we managed to capture a cracking exit photo along the way! 🪂📸

Saturday 26 September brought another Belly Bash, with Load Organising from Dawn and Chris, along with an All Levels Canopy Course with Adrian Seemann.

And there’s plenty more to look forward to, with Learning Curve Camp coming up from Monday 5 to Friday 9 October, followed by the QLD Skydiving State Championships.

It’s shaping up to be a big few weeks at Ramblers! 🪂

Finished your training and you are looking for someone to jump with? Let manifest know and they will put you in contact with our Load Energiser, who will either jump with you, or match you up with a jump buddy. No charge. All you pay for is your own jump slot.

All Levels Canopy Course

“This weekend Aaron Fels and I ran an all levels canopy course.

We had a total of 12 participants with their experience levels ranging from Cert-A jumpers to jumpers who were trying to fine-tune their high performance landings. We started day 1 with two separate theory seminars (one basic and one high performance) based on their experience level, before all the participants started jumping. We split the participants in two groups, and each group spent one day with each coach. Most of the participants did 12 jumps over the two days and it was amazing to see their progression throughout the event.

Belly Bash – Load Organising with Dawn & Chris

“A huge shout out to the 27 amazing people who joined us for Belly Bash yesterday – thank you for making it such an enjoyable one! All of the organisers and group leaders (Abby, Travis, Emily) were stoked to see the progress you all made. We were grinning over dinner talking about the amazing examples of people who those who have been working on their fall rate and seeing progress, are learning to dress for success, are enjoying flying with bigger groups of people, come back after a while off and got straight back into it, are reminding us of how geeking is done, show incredible patience and determination when others would have given up!

Photos to follow – videos of the jumps are always on the NAS if you want copies for yourself, just don’t forget to credit our eyes in the sky (Luke, Jason or me) if you share the videos.
