Drop Zone Action

🏁 Students starting their Learn to Skydive journey on Saturday 29 August were Indiana, who completed her First Jump Course classroom session with Instructor Bill, and Andrew, who started his 15 Jump Package. Andrew wasted no time getting into the action completing Stages 1 and 2 on his first weekend of jumping, and we hope to get Indiana into the skies soon

⭐ Congratulations to Luke, who completed Stages 5 to 9 and finished his AFF Course, Caleb, who completed Stages 6 to 9 to finish AFF, and Christian, who completed Stages 8 and 9 to reach the same goal. Well done to all three!

Continuing students Kerensa and Jamie both reached Stage 8, getting ever closer to completing their AFF Courses.

Thanks to our Instructors for looking after the students and keeping everyone safe in freefall and under canopy, Toddy, Robin, Adrian, Kellie, Alex, and Shelby.

Tandem Skydivers

Another great group of Tandem Skydivers took the leap at Toogs this week!

Jennifer celebrated her 30th birthday with a skydive!🖋 Visitor Book Comment: “Thank you to the awesome community for creating the most incredible 30th birthday experience! Adrian was so comforting – professional, and that was the most insane thing I’ve done.”

Emalee, Dylan C., Jennifer, Taviana, Dylan S. and Samuel all enjoyed the experience with Video and/or Photo Packages to capture their unforgettable first jumps. Also taking the leap were Chris, Thayne, Amelia, and Austin.

Big cheers to those who took the Video/Photo Package to capture that unforgettable first jump! And an extra thanks to everyone who left reviews — your words inspire the next generation of skydivers.

Thanks to Tandem Masters Ben, Robin, Adrian, and Ty for getting everyone safely into the sky and back to the ground. And thanks to Toddy and Shelby for running outside camera and capturing that special angle!

BELLY BASH – LOAD ORGANISING WITH DAWN & CHRIS

“What a cracking day last Saturday! Over 30 BellyBashers turned up to enjoy some glorious weather – spring is definitely almost here! ☀️🪂

A special welcome to at least 4 BB virgins, who all absolutely smashed it – not only with the skydiving but also the geeking!

This month’s fun involved plenty of side-sliding, with some challenging no-grip transitions, and a healthy serving of open accordions. And what better way to finish than a 13-way sunset birthday jump with beers waiting?! 🌅🎂🪂

As always, huge thanks to our awesome camera flyers Fitchy and Michael for capturing the madness, and to our wonderful sponsors – Skydiving Ramblers, SQPC, TSC, APF and Mee Loft for continuing to support BellyBash! ❤️

📅 Next BellyBash: Saturday 26th September!

See you all there – regulars, belly legends and future BB virgins alike! 🤘🪂”

STARCRESTS – 30 AUGUST

Report by Luke Matthei

“This one was a long time coming. I had almost lost all hope after the previous two events were weathered out, but this last weekend turned it around completely, giving us a full day of very jumpable weather! We squeezed in a total of 4 jumps on Sunday which set up Kerwin Davis to get more exposure to 10-ways, Tyler Minett to get her first two signed off, Dominic Wrench to get his last two signed off and Britt Macpherson to complete her starcrest entirely!

I am truly proud of all four of them for the effort they put in. They were awesome crestees to coach and spend the day with.

Of course it wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible helpers whom I am so grateful for: Francois Gourichon, Guanting Li, Scott Ferrar, Matthew Mckenzie, Sherry Barr, and Shelby du Moulin. Thank you all so much!

As always, a massive thankyou to the fantastic Mr. Steve Fitchett for capturing amazing stills and footage of every jump.

A very special thanks to Abby Snowdon for taking my place in the formation and contributing all her belly flying knowledge to the briefs and debriefs.

Looking forward to the next one!”
