Drop Zone Action

Another brilliant week at the DZ with Students, Tandems, B-Rels, and Fun Jumpers all bringing the energy. Huge congratulations to Taylah, who completed Stage 9 and officially finished her AFF Course – awesome effort and well deserved.

The weekend also saw the big Ramblers Reunion, organised by Jason Cooke (Cookie Composites) bringing loads of familiar faces back together at Toogs for an unforgettable weekend of formation loads, freeflying, catch-ups, and good vibes all around. Some of Ramblers Legendary Skydivers from the last six decades attended, together with 3 Multiple World Champions as coaches: Craig Girard & Eliana Rodriguez, and Jake Jensen! More info and photos below, and be sure to watch the epic Day Tape by Elad Berger (High Speed Productions)!

Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…

Catch you in freefall,
The Ramblers Crew 🪂

Tandem jumpers this week included David, Karyn, Isaac, Craig, Rachael, Bryce, Jordan, and Taison, all taking the leap and enjoying the experience above Toogs.

David Robert G., who jumped Tandem with Adrian, shared on Facebook: “1st leap of faith on Saturday 16th May – absolutely loved it! Beautiful part of the world to be in and would not hesitate to do it again. Fantastic!!”

🖋 Rachel M. (Tandem with Adrian) wrote: “Absolutely amazing. Check off the bucket list. My Instructor was amazing! I would do it 100 times more!”

📧 We also received lovely email feedback from Colin & Ann Ness on Monday 11 May: “Everything was fantastic. Thank you so much what an amazing place too! Yes will definitely be singing your praises far and wide. Hope to see you at the bowlo sometime soon, and thanks again we all had an awesome time.”

Big cheers to those who took the Video/Photo Package to capture that unforgettable first jump! And an extra thanks to everyone who left Reviews – your words inspire the next generation of skydivers.

Thanks to our Tandem Masters Robin, Adrian, Ty, and Shani for getting everyone safely into the sky.

Ramblers Reunion 2026

Saturday 16 May was the big Ramblers Reunion, organised by Jason Cooke, bringing loads of familiar faces back to our Toogoolawah Drop Zone – Famous For Fun!

Formation loads were organised by Craig Girard, Eliana Rodriguez, and Kristina Jeanie Hicks, while freefly action was led by Josh Arndt and Jake Jensen. The formation loads made for spectacular visuals even from the ground, with huge track-offs and skies filled with opening parachutes one after another.

Huge thanks for the brilliant freefall footage to Steve Fitch, Michel Young, Matt Drew, and all camera flyers who captured the action throughout the weekend.

A massive thank you as well to the event sponsors: Cookie Helmets, Sun Path Products, Alti-2, CYPRES, Vigil AAD, and UPT, along with all the supporters who helped make this Reunion another memorable event.

Big thanks to Jason Cooke and everyone who came along and made the weekend what it was.

Don’t forget to check out the Day Tape by Elad Berger – High Speed Productions embedded below from our YouTube Channel, and be sure to subscribe to stay in the Ramblers loop.
