Drop Zone Action

Another action-packed week at the DZ with Students, Tandems, B-Rels, and Fun Jumpers all getting amongst it.

Huge congratulations to Danny and Jarred, who both completed their AFF Courses with Stage 9, with Jarred also earning his A-Certificate and jumping straight into B-Rels – great momentum. It was also a big week for achievements across the board, with milestones, ratings, and crests being ticked off left, right, and centre.

A massive week of accomplishments saw our Ben return to AFF, Estelle celebrate her 100th jump milestone. Cyrus achieved his B-Certificate, Nikki earned her Head-up Crest, and Bec ticked off Jyro Spono. Matt received his A-Certificate, Aysha and Patrick completed a fun B-Rel Comp, and Estelle added a Head-up Crest to her achievements. Aaron earned his Freely Coach Rating, and Logan achieved his Coach Rating. Congratulations to all on these awesome milestones.

Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…

Catch you in freefall,
The Ramblers Crew 🪂

Tandem Skydivers

Tandem jumpers this week included Jesse, Shanan, Tahnya, Thomas, Cameron, Kyley, and Gary, all taking the leap and enjoying the thrill of freefall. Big cheers to those who took the Video/Photo Package to capture that unforgettable first jump! And an extra thanks to everyone who left reviews – your words inspire the next generation of skydivers.

Thanks to our Tandem Masters Matt, Ty, and Ash.

Email feedback from Kyle R. said: “Thanks so much! The jump & whole experience was incredible, the only problem is I’m now addicted 🤣🤣 my instructor was incredible & I had the most amazing time in the air. The video footage is incredible. Thank you so much again & I’ll definitely do a Rev for you guys. I can’t wait to start my jumping journey on getting my license so I can throw myself out of a plane.”

B-Rels, Coach & Fun Jumps

B-Rel progression continued strong with Adam starting B-Rel 1, Jarred moving through B-Rels 1 and 2, and Calen progressing through B-Rels 1 to 4. Continuing jumpers Brendan worked on B-Rel 4, Savanna on B-Rel 5, and Patrick, Aysha, and Jordan all reached B-Rel 6. Sebastian and Morgan also continued their coaching jumps.

Thanks to our coaches Ash, Ben, Toddy, Rebecca, Matthew, and Lisa.

It also was a huge weekend for Fun Jumpers with two events running. Funtastic Friday with Josh Arndt on the 17th saw a big turnout, with highlights including Aaron Fels completing his Freefly Coach Rating, Nikki and Estelle both earning their Head-up Crests, and plenty of angle and vertical groups building skills throughout the day, finishing with a bigway angle jump and a well-earned debrief by the pool.

The weekend continued with an Angle Camp with Josh and Muldz on the 18th and 19th, featuring three groups of beginner to intermediate flyers. With six jumps on Saturday and five on Sunday, the camp delivered great weather, safe jumps, and solid progression for everyone involved. Plans are already in the works for another Friday/Angle weekend in June.

Tom Roberts first time coaching at Toogs and took alot of angle groups and I filled in between taking vertical groups and beginner angle groups, finishing with a rad bigway Angle, followed by snags by the pool. Alot of people came out just for the event who haven’t been to Ramblers before, including 3 Byron instructors.
