It was another action-packed week at the Drop Zone with Students, Tandems, B-Rels, and Fun Jumpers all making the most of the conditions.
Huge congratulations go to ⭐️Adam and ⭐️Brendan, who completed Stages 8 and 9 to finish their AFF Courses, and to ⭐️Monte, who powered through from Stage 3 to Stage 9 – outstanding effort from all three.
We also celebrated ⭐️Tom’s 50th jump milestone, a fantastic achievement, and wrapped up the week with Angelo’s School of BigWays Downunder, which delivered some truly impressive formation skydives and plenty of firsts for those involved.
Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…
During the week, Benjamin and Calen completed AFF Stage 1 and officially earned their welcome to the skies. Luke progressed strongly through AFF Stages 1 to 3, while Reshon continued with Stage 4. Peterson returned for refresher jumps, ticking off Stages 3 and 5, and Carlos moved forward with Stage 6.
Adam and Brendan wrapped up their AFF Courses with Stages 8 and 9, and Monte made a huge leap in progression by completing Stages 3 through to 9 – congratulations to all on their hard-earned achievements.
Thanks to our Instructors for looking after the students and keeping everyone safe in freefall and under canopy, Toddy, Natisha, Marc, and Lisa.

B-Rels, Coach & Fun Jumps
Coach jumps kept things moving as well, with Jan completing a recurrency jump, Brittany progressing through B-Rel Stages 3 and 4, and Dani continuing her B-Rel training.
Thanks to our coaches Alex S., Lisa, Toddy, and Li for their guidance and support.
On the Fun Jumpers side of things, Tom celebrated his 50th jump milestone in style – congratulations on the achievement.
The weekend also saw Angelo’s School of Bigways – Downunder edition, bringing together a great group of participants for some excellent skydives. Highlights included a 2-point 26-way and a 14-way open accordion, with many jumpers achieving personal firsts such as largest formations and first formation loads.
A big thank you to Angelo Declerck and Mark Gerard Higgins for the coaching, Doug Pryor for organising the event, and all camera flyers, event supporters, and sponsors. Be sure to check out the brilliant Fitchimages by Steve Fitchett.

Ramblers is a great club and a great drop zone. It was 39 years ago and it is now. I have just gone through the photos of my tandem jump with Darren and relived the whole exhilarating experience again - even my husband was impressed. Congratulations to Dave McEvoy for such a fantastic venue.
