Ben Gordon –   Completed AFF

Monday 15th February. The weather was starting to look not too good. It didn’t stop Josh Large from coming along for a Refresher.

The weather did turn bad. It was rained out  Tuesday and Wednesday. There were lots of packing lessons happening. Our students should be able to pack parachutes by the end of the week!

Thursday wasn’t much better but  Ben Gordon stuck in there and did get AFF Stage 5 done right on sunset. On ya Ben, your patience paid off.

By Friday  there were good breaks in the weather. Ben did Stages 6, 7 & 8 of his AFF Course. Other fun jumpers also got some jumps in.

On Saturday 20th Kayla Richards and Katie Wessling took a gamble on the weather, came along and won! They got on the first and only load and got their Tandem jump.

Our newest student Jackson Wales started his AFF Course and did Stage 1. Ben Gordon did Stage 9  and finished his AFF Course. Congratulations!

And that was IT for the week, Sunday was also rained out. Oh well, the DZ is looking greener!

(2021 – to be confirmed…)

Hey guys,
Thanks for running the Learning Curve Camp last week! It was run to your usual high standard and was a very beneficial experience, especially given my lack of currency after the main COVID closures. I thoroughly enjoy attending these weeks and really appreciate the time dedicated by the whole team at Ramblers, including the instructors, manifest, cafe team, aviation crew/pilots, and support staff. You are all legends and I look forward to coming out again in the near future.
Cheers, Adam.
