10-ways at Ramblers – with Martin K. (3 Oct. 2020)

“What to do, what to do, when you want to jump big (-ish) ways with friends and there are few RW (relative work) events on the agenda? Easy one – invite everyone. Limit it to 10 so that star crest aspirants can come and play. So, of course, 18 registered and, more to the point, all turned up.

What a great day! We ended up jumping in two groups with jumpers moving between the groups as the day went on. Dave Brown and Ollie gave us fantastic camera service and on a pretty busy day at the DZ the wonderful manifest staff kept the loads going up. We finished the day with a 12 way sunset load. What an awesome group of people. My special thanks to Craig Truesdale for looking after loads and tickets. Should we do it again, I wonder …

Well, yes. I gather that the second plane will be back shortly – anyone for formation loads in November?”
