⭐ AFF Student Progression
Nakai joined us on Saturday for his First Jump Course classroom session with Bill, and backed it up on Sunday by sending AFF Stage 1 – welcome to the sport, mate! Jordy kept charging ahead with Stage 3 – keep sending it and enjoying the journey!
Thanks to our Instructors Robin and Toddy for looking after the Students and keeping everyone safe in freefall and under canopy.

🪂 Tandem Skydivers
Big cheers to Tobias, Steven, and Helen for taking the leap with us this week.
Tobias celebrated his birthday in style with a Tandem skydive – what a way to mark another lap around the sun! 🎉
Extra awesome moment – passenger Helen (mate of jumper Zurika) got to dock on her in freefall, with jumper Travis joining the fun and Luke capturing the magic on outside video. Nothing beats seeing Tandem mates join the Fun Jumpers – the smiles say it all!
Thanks to Ty and Robin for Tandem duties, and cheers to Toddy for running outside video & photos for Tobias’ jump.

🎃 Weekend Fun
Saturday cleared just enough for some quality jumps, and the stoke was back in full swing as our crew got amongst it. Night Jumps on Saturday unfortunately had to be stood down due to lightning and storms – safety first.
“Although most of the jumpers arrived at the DZ hopeful for a successful night of jumping, the weather ultimately had other plans. We decided to call off the event a couple of hours ahead of schedule due to the conditions.
That said, it was incredibly encouraging to see the level of interest and commitment. Had the event gone ahead, we would have had six novices, ten participants with one night jump completed, three ready for sign-off, and six experienced night jumpers.
Keep an eye out for the next night jumps on the Ramblers events calendar.
Trav.”
A2C Canopy Course with Miles Cottman also ran over the weekend, giving jumpers a solid chance to sharpen their canopy skills, build confidence, and land with more accuracy and awareness. Big thanks to Miles for sharing the knowledge and keeping everyone learning and progressing under canopy.
Despite the funky weather, vibes stayed high. TSC Star Crests with Travis ran on Sunday with three solid loads, crew learning heaps and smashing goals. Love seeing teamwork and skyfam energy in the sky! Luke M. helped out running outside camera during Star Crests on Sunday – nice one, mate!
Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…
Catch you in freefall,
The Ramblers Crew 🪂
TSC Starcrests – 2nd November
“Despite the challenging weather, it was fantastic to see such a strong turnout at the DZ. We managed to get three jumps completed, and five crestees earned their full sign-off — a huge congratulations to Caleb Flett, Guanting (Logan) Li, Stephen Roberts, Camilla Rokke, and Patrick Richell on achieving this milestone!
A big thank you goes out to our incredible helpers: Fred Olive, Sabine De Rocker, Eduardo Armijo, Callum Richardson, and Alex Simmons. Your support made the event possible.
Special shout-out to Luke Matthei for not only flying camera with style, but also stepping up to help with organising, briefing, and debriefing. Your contribution was invaluable — thank you, Luke!
Looking forward to the next one…”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📧 Helena K.. : “It’s was absolutely insane! Ty, Luke, Travis and of course my own sister Zurika gave me an experience that I’ll never forget. It’s clear that while on the ground everyone is fun, however when it gets to safety there’s no joking about.
The collaboration was also evident. No egos just people sharing a passion. I now have an immense amount of respect for skydivers and everything that’s involved in the sport. Thanks for everything.”
Kind Regards
,
Helena
