Coolum Team Profile - Gustavo Cisneros

Gus is currently working at the Coolum Beach drop zone as Tandem Master and after 9 years in the sport, he accumulated over 3000 jumps.

Gus participated in large formation skydives, like some 50- and 60-way records!

He holds several licences in the sport: USPA (United States Parachute Association) D-licence, COACH, AFF (Accelerated FreeFall Course), and his TANDEM Instructor Rating.

Licenses with the APF (Australian Parachute Federation) include E-license, Packer B, Star crest, Instructor D, Instructor B, and AFF Course Instructor.

Gus did several Tandems with disabled persons. There was a passenger with NO legs, a passenger with just one arm, a paraplegic.. and few passengers in wheelchairs!! His youngest passenger was only 5 years old (in New Zealand), and the oldest passenger Gus took skydiving over Coolum was about 85 years young!

Gus has been jumping at about ten dropzones in different countries, he flew the skies of Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, New Zealand, and Australia.

With 3000 jumps under his belt, Gus has all of the experience necessary to add value to every Skydive Ramblers Tandem experience.

Coolum Team Profile - Darren Harvey

Darren Harvey is currently working at the Coolum Beach drop zone as Personal Tandem Master. Darren has been skydiving for 15yrs now and has accumulated over 5000 jumps in this time.

His TANDEM Instructor Rating License with the APF (Australian Parachute Federation) include F-license, Packer B, Star crest, and Instructor D Qualification.

Darren has always been the first to volunteer for the crazy stuff. He was trying skysurfing with only 300 jumps, he has jumped out of a hot air balloon, a helicopter and a bi-plane to name a few. He's been in formations of up to 40 skydivers in freefall and has been involved in canopy relative work. He's jumped with inflatable rafts and boogie boards and flown a wingsuit.

On a more professional level Darren has won silver in the Australian National Accuracy Championship, he has also come second in a National Photography Competition for sports in the community and he has been seen a number of times on different TV programs and been a part of many demonstration jumps into local events.

Darren is very passionate about his sport. He has taken mentally and physically handicapped people when others wouldn't just so they could have the experience - he will do anything he can to make your jump better for you. He is also a course instructor so he has taken a number of people for their first tandem and then he has been there for support as they have progressed through their training to be able to jump on their own.

Darren has taken over 3000 people for tandem skydives over the past 9 years, which gained him all of the experience necessary to add value to every Skydive Ramblers Tandem experience.
