For the once-only Tandem jumpers, choose to tandem jump over the Sunshine Coast and land on the beach at Coolum Beach or choose to tandem jump at Toogoolawah drop zone - Ramblers purpose-built skydiving institution.

The minimum age is 14 (with Parents consent) and a 86 year old groover holds the age record at Toogoolawah! Check out the Tandem Skydiving page. Click the tandem skydiving icon to find out more!
For those with a taste of something more than a tandem jump, choose the First Jump Course or try the 'Introduction' 3-jump freefall package, either at Toogoolawah drop zone or Coolum Beach. If you are up for the course or even the sport, choose the 'Completion' 10-jump Freefall package or better still, go hard and go off with the 'Addiction' 20-jump 'A' License package.
For the experienced jumpers, Ramblers drop zone at Toogoolawah is a REAL drop zone, for the fun jumpers - yeah! The 17-place turbine Cessna Caravan flies loads pretty much every day throughout the year - the average is about 4 caravan loads daily mid-week and up to 20 loads daily on the weekend, sometimes with 2-plane formation loads just because we can! Regular events including fun competitions, organised dive days, big boogies, Learning Curve Camps, team training camps and monthly Safety Meetings.

Coolum Drop Zone

Taking people skydiving is the major aim of Ramblers, and when the opportunity arose in 2000 to open up a tandem skydiving operation at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Ramblers jumped at the chance!

All jumps are from up to 14,000 ft from our large, fast, modern, turbine Cessna Caravan - giving you 60 secs of freefall followed by a 5 minute parachute ride. A jump over Coolum Beach gives you a bird’s eye view of one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world, plus you land from your skydive right on the sand at Coolum Beach! All jumps at Coolum are videoed - you get to see the video before you decide if you would like to buy.

Coolum Beach is one of the Sunshine Coast’s hot spots, a fabulous township boasting an awesome coastline, unreal hinterland views and a superb landing area for tandems on the beach. Coolum Beach is only a 10 minute drive from all the action of Maroochydore and Noosa and is just over one hour from Brisbane.

Ramblers operation at Coolum Beach caters for Tandem jumps 7 days a week. Ramblers Coolum Beach is a tandem-only operation, committed to providing you with all of our best attention and the second-to-none service. YES - it is ALL ABOUT YOU! The flight to jump height is nothing short of breathtaking – the 15 minute flight takes in the sights of the Glasshouse Mountains, Noosa and Moreton Island. Whale and dolphin sightings are not uncommon!

If jumping out of a plane is a once in a lifetime thing for you and you are not particularly interested in checking out skydiving as a sport, then we recommend going for your Tandem Jump over Coolum Beach. If you have a special day - birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day - a Tandem Skydive is a great gift idea.

Ramblers are based at their private function room at the Coolum Beach Hotel. The pub is a terrific location offering a shady beer garden, bistro, variety of wonderful meals, playground for kids and a terrific atmosphere to celebrate the big jump.
