Toogoolawah Drop Zone

Ramblers Drop Zone at Toogoolawah in the Brisbane Hinterland was established in 1979.

The original Club House was moved from Brisbane and erected at the drop zone for the weekend jumpers to have a home. The drop zone has grown into a style of Country Club – a Resort for skydivers!

It is now regarded as one of the Top 10 drop zones in the World, for the facilities, the training courses, the weather, the aircraft, the people and the fun.

The drop zone has classrooms, gear rooms, parachute packing huts, a team room, a rigging loft for equipment maintenance, ‘Airsuits’ jumpsuit factory, gear and souvenir shop, hangar, bunkhouse, communal kitchen, on-site cabins with ensuites, café, inground swimming pool, gym, huge bar, foose and pool tables, laundry but above all, a wonderful atmosphere. Ramblers prides itself on providing excellent facilities and excellent value for money.

Ramblers Drop Zone at Toogoolawah is an excellent place to Learn to Skydive and to do Tandem Skydives, as well as for fun jumping action, team training, Learning Curve Camps, and Instructor Rating Courses.

Families

Toogoolawah is a family drop zone. While you are having the time of your life jumping from perfectly good aeroplanes, the kids will have a fantastic time riding bikes, on the swings, playing fooseball, watching videos, swimming in the pool and watching the parachutes swooping while you skydive.

Parties

Skydiving puts a huge smile on your face and makes you want to party! A jumper once said that “jumping is what beer was invented for!” Ramblers has a strong social club for skydiving in Brisbane and skydivers generally like to have a good time. We offer a terrific venue with an awesome atmosphere day and night. You are welcome to stay overnight at Toogoolawah after your jump. Every Friday night there is a free sausage sizzle by the pool and a great party every Saturday night – you’re invited!

If you are organising a party of your own (birthday, anniversary, wedding etc) consider Toogoolawah drop zone as your party venue. There are no time or noise restrictions, an incredible music system, plenty of room for a private marquis, a large inground pool with BBQ, a huge bar and cold room, a snack bar, catering packages, various on-site accommodation and a terrific environment.
