Equinox Boogie 2008
By LEGLESS the band, from Schoolgirl, Amanda Emblem on 12/01/2009

Hi Team Rambers
Just letting you know our skydiving photos from equinox are now on our website
http://www.leglesstheband.com!
We had such a great gig at Equinox.
Thankyouthankyouthankyou for getting TOTALLY Legless with us!
Also, our big news is that drummer imaj is now preggers with twins!
She would've been 10 - 15 days when she did her tandem jump.
We joke that the cell divided during freefall!
Legless honestly cant wait to come back to Toogoolawah dropzone.
We might even bring our own caravan to leave permanantly so we can be "house band"
Skydiving has cour lives in the most wonderful way.
We cant wait till we see monkeys video clip!!!!!!!!!!!
Love and regards
Schoolgirl, Amanda Emblem

Good Morning Glen and Annemarie

The accommodation was beautiful and amazingly keeped.

Just some feedback on our holiday.

It has been an amazing time. We thank Castaway for the possibility to combine accommodation with the adventure package that our family has experienced.

I have appreciated all efforts also by the Skydiving company Ramblers (Dan and Gus, Dave and Sarah) to make sure that my son and daughter had a memorable experience. The rockclimbing has been a challenge but Stan made sure that all was safe and has been a great guide.

I would recommend Castaway to anybody with teeenagers who would like a little adventure in their holidays.

Gus & Darren you are truly fantastic at what you do, making the experience enjoyable and unforgetable. Thanks to all of the team at Ramblers; Mac and Sarah included.
All the best for the future, hope to see you again some day :)

Hey mate, just a quick note to say thanks for a fabulous Nox boogie. I had the best time of my life.

It’s funny to think that the first time I came to Ramblers for the Freefly boogie, we did a jump together that turned out to be more Atmonauti then Headdown. I remember it well as it was my 100thjump and still have the mental picture of back tracking after you. We were the original Atmonauti pilots.

Have fun,
Douglas

Goodbye Ramblers and Toogoolawah
By John Hillam on 17/06/2008

Goodbye Ramblers and Toogoolawah

It's funny how some places leave an impression on you. This has been one of those places for me. I will not miss the trips to the loo in the middle of the night - though I did get a fantastic view of the stars and the milky way. I will not miss the cold of the caravan in the last couple of nights. I will however miss the people, Sarah and Gus, Rodney, Macca, Al, Harvey (the backs healing up now!!), Dave (monkey), Lynette and her mom at the video shop where I sent all of my e-mails from, plus other too numerous to mention (you who know me know what I am like with names).

Toogoolawah and the general area are just so down to earth, with some beautiful scenery and a much better pace of life - as for the Ramblers Skydive, I and most other skydivers could not ask for more.

One final thing before I close, the local radio station Valley FM 95.9 fm is run by Anna Wheildon, Anna used to work for the BBC. I met Anna and her husband Ken a few days before I left, Anna was kind enough to allow me a live interview on her radio programme (12/6). It allowed me to talk about my journey and the charity NACC - this is the first time I have been in a radio studio - it seemed to go OK and I was thankful to be able to talk about Colitis and Crohns disease and the aims of NACC. I am a bit behind in writing this as Internet access has taken me a while to sort out.

Totally Wild
By Kirsten Souvlis, Network 10 on 08/02/2008

Hi Susie,

I'm just writing to say a huge thank you to you and the whole Skydive Ramblers team for accommodating the crew yesterday. I know it takes a lot of time and energy to set up and film with us and we really appreciate your effort. The stories will be absolutely fantastic and the crew had a terrific day. Thank you also for all of the vision with which you supplied us. It will come in very handy!

The stories should air around April/May. We will definitely contact you 2 weeks before they go to air. Due to the fact that we have so much content we produce, we are normally unable to supply DVD copies of the stories. However, we are most definitely willing to make an exception for you! When you receive your notification of air date email, please contact me. This means that I can go ahead with the dub.

Thanks once again Susie. Have a terrific weekend and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any story ideas for Totally Wild!

Kind regards,

Kristen

Four of us went for a tandem skydive on Australia Day Saturday 26th January 2008 to celebrate a mate's birthday.
I'd just like to say thanks to my instructor Erin and the other blokes for an entertaining and professional jump and for one hell of a ride.
The DVD was superb...my 3-year-old boy has already watched it half a dozen times and now thinks his daddy can fly!
Cheers,
Anthony Power
