Well Christmas and New Year have come and gone and it’s been jumping almost every day throughout the break with virtually perfect weather. Wednesday 23rd Dec was slow but it didn’t stop Peter Flanagan...

...and Christine Clarke getting a couple of B-Rels in. Faye Oliver was back for a couple on her way to her A Certificate. And Daniel Light also did a couple of jumps of his Static Line course. We had a couple of tandems and Brody and Kirstin Moriarty were again back in the air.
Christmas Eve was about the same; two more tandems and Vanessa Dear and Michael Cross started their Addiction Package. The Christmas Orphans were starting to arrive including Clay Anderson who only left yesterday (2nd Jan). Tom Valentine and Brody (who hasn’t left yet!) also did a couple of jumps. Christmas Day was a day off and the orphans headed for the Brisbane River for a day of fun. And then it all began!
Boxing Day was a beauty. Michael Cross and Vanessa did Stages 2, 3 & 4, Adrian Van Trier did a couple, we did three tandems and 22 fun jumpers got the Christmas Feel Good Boogie on its way. Mossy, Fong, Pauly and Fabbro – the Ayr Monkeys, started their training camp with Lisa on camera.

The Boogie was a great end to 2011 and the weather had been near perfect. ( We should have had the Nationals!). And then the party started!
It, the Party, went ‘till dawn so we had New Year’s Day off! But that was it! Monday the 2nd of January 2012 was off with a boost. 5 First Jumpers arrived for the course; David Gibbs, Shane Dutton, Tim Roy, Lee Wendt and Russell Gregg all kept Belgy busy. Plus Michael and Vanessa were back, and Jon Sirasch and David Schmuttermauer. (Dave, you’ve got to get a shorter surname!) Another 10 tandems rocked up,

...most with Gift Vouchers from Christmas and included brothers Ben (16) and Daniel Marshall(11). Our fun jumpers had thinned but our staff were kept busy. Brett Ogden was back and brought along Jeffrey Lunt and Sandy Glenday from SA. Orby and Chris Coulson arrived. Bart Cunningham wasn’t ready to leave,

Tim Leitch did 5 jumps and Naomi and Dingo did 4. It was a good start to our new year.
Tuesday the 3rd was also busy as all our first jumpers from Monday did another three stages.

We only did 5 loads but they were all FULL. All staff were on deck, including Rodney and me. Chris Coulson was on every one, Naomi and Dingo only missed the first, Jenny Thornton brought along some great furniture and did her first 3 jumps of 2012. Tim did one and finally, reluctantly had to leave. Sandrine and Stephan did their last jumps.
Vanessa completed Stage 9, yahoo!

...and Daniel Moore handled Manifest all by himself.
