The Big Ways were off to a great start with a 3 point 8 way, with organiser John McMahon.

Crew Jumps

Peter Barnett got the crew-dogs going with a great CRW jump with Sarge, Belgie & Wade.
Lisa took the photos (photo on right), it was her first CRW jump and she put on a carton. You are a great Load Energiser Lisa!
Monday was recovery day – Sunday pub night was a killer!! Adam Martin got us going again Tuesday and did Stages 4&5 with Wade and Belgy. The rest of the week was a bit quiet but then it all started happening again Friday. We had tandem Mark Evans, students David Schmuttermaier and Jackson Montgomery, and regulars/locals Louis Tresise, Jordan Scarlet, Dave Bleakley, Pat Hopkins (in his new jumpsuit), Josh Costa and Phil Kemper do the sunset load,.......... and then is was the weekend again!
Weekend of 2/3rd July.
And what a weekend it turned out to be. It was quiet, but busy! It was Jackson Montgomery’s birthday bash weekend. Jacko brought along a heap of friends to party at the dz and to do tandems. Fourteen in fact. Fifteen if you count Nathan Predo who did two!
Plus our students; On Saturday David S did more, Adrian Bramwell finished his Accredation package, and Matt Lynam finished his Addiction package.

Jacko did a heap of camera geek jumps, Lee Marshall, Dave King, Brian Stephensons and Jack Elford all continued on towards their A licence, Kylie Stephensons got her A licence and Sharpa Soleymanian got back in the air again – and jumped, twice!!
The staff were flat out doing tandems and AFF. Belgy was Load Energiser for the weekend and gathered up all the novice flatties for some terrific bigger-ways and he took some great photos (see Gallery below). There was Jordan, and Josh and Pat, and Pete Sakrzewski and Dale Findlay and Owen and Jenny Thornton. Mark Laing was taking photos.
The last jump sunset load was a beauty, a 4-point 12 way. Al White and Big Ben helped out on that one. Greg White and Alec Adsett were back, tracking away. So were me and Alex Woodward, Holly Gano, Mat Taylor and Owen. What a jump! We went tracking after Alex who was on his back, and then he went steeper and FASTER! Holly reckons it was the fastest she’s ever been. Me too- I couldn’t hear my ditter from the wind-noise!
Sunday was quiet but again we were busy with tandems and students. Rhyley Herron rocked up and did two more 8-granders for his Static Line course – a delta and turns.
