“The Cherries” are a side project for Kylie Cowling and Sherree Newton, who have been performing together in the all girl punk rock band "Legless" and instrumental surf band "Cosmic Bikini" since 2005.

It is not uncommon for the Cherries to perform requests. Audience participation is one of the highlights of their act The warm sound of two acoustic guitars combined with two part vocal harmonies gives these girls a voluptuous full sound scape. Please feel free to request your song!
The Cherries will celebrate the Australian pub rock tradition performing Aussie rock songs from bands such as Living End, Silverchair, The Vines, ACDC, Crowded House, Hunters and Collectors, The Divinyls, Masters Apprentices, Daddy Cool, Rose Tattoo, The Angels, Screaming Jets and more.
